How can I use the music I license from MD Stock Sound?
The type of license you acquire for each track determines your usage rights. We provide 4 straightforward music license options to choose from.
1. Simple Music License:
- Commercial and non-commercial projects on social media
- YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Vimeo
- Youtube: 1 Channel, unlimited videos
- Podcasts, Offline events, student projects
- No attribution required
2. Standard Music License:
- Everything from Simple Music License
- Youtube: 5 channels, unlimited videos.
- Primarily commercial projects: Paid advertisements, games, apps, and software.
- Non-revenue generating projects: Educational videos, courses, and audiobooks.
- Standard license extends to audio-only projects, including on-hold music and background music for public places and shows.
3. Extended Music License:
- Everything from Standard Music License
- Youtube: Unlimited channels, unlimited videos
- Local TV and radio advertising, including shows and jingles.
- Indie and festival films.
4. Premium Music License:
- Everything from Extended Music License
- Operating an education company that sells video courses, whether online or on physical media.
- Producing a film intended for release in movie theaters.
- Requiring a soundtrack for a TV show on a national or international channel, such as Discovery.
- Utilizing the music in advertisements aired on national TV or radio.

Are there any limitations or restrictions on the usage of music purchased from MD Stock Sound?
Yes, there are restrictions on the utilisation of music purchased from MD Stock Sound. The license allows for personal or professional use of the music, either for yourself, your clients, or your employer. However, it is prohibited to sell, transfer, barter, trade, share, lease, or give away the music to any other party. The license cannot be subleased to a third party either. While the music can be incorporated into your own finished end product, it should not be resold as a standalone entity. Additionally, it is not permitted to market the music as your own, even if you add other instruments or vocals to it. Singing over the music and selling or distributing the resulting song is also not allowed.
These limitations of use also extend to any music offered for free on the MD Stock Sound website, including watermarked previews. For more details, please refer to our license agreement. If you are uncertain whether your intended usage falls within these limitations, please feel free to contact us for clarification.

What is the process for purchasing a license?
- Click the “Add To Cart” button next to the desired track to open the menu.
- Select the type of license you want and click “Add to cart.” Select any additional versions if needed.
- Go to your Cart to review and finalize your order.
- Follow the instructions provided to make a payment. Please note that all transactions on our website are processed through the secure Stripe and Paypal system. We do not retain your personal data, including credit card information.
Where can I find the link to the music and license that I have purchased?
Is it possible for me to request a refund for a license?
- In the event that you accidentally purchased a license for the wrong music track, please contact us within 3 days of the purchase date to initiate the refund process.
- If you desire to upgrade your license by returning the current one and purchasing a more expensive license instead, there is no time limit for the return.
TECHNICAL
What do Full track, Loop, and Short version mean?
- After purchasing a license, we offer a range of audio versions and loops to facilitate the editing process for video editors. A Full Track refers to a comprehensive musical composition, typically with the longest duration. Short versions consist of three music clips lasting 15, 30, and 60 seconds respectively. These versions are specifically tailored for TV and radio advertisements but can also be used in various short projects. A Loop is an audio segment that repeats continuously, allowing you to seamlessly create a track of any desired length. This is particularly useful for applications such as streaming or vlogging, where an extended duration is required.
What format will the music be provided to me in?
Upon purchase, you will receive a zip archive containing the track in mp3 and .wav format, with a sample rate of 44100Hz and a bit depth of 16 bits.
Is it possible to update my personal information such as login, email address, and password?
Yes, you can do it on My Account page.
How can I access My Account on the website?
After purchasing a license, will the watermark remain in the audio tracks?
